JA Illustrationss – Photography Agreement/Booking Policy
1. Payment, Deposits & No-Refund Policy
All payments made to secure a booking are non-refundable. Mini Sessions (30 minutes), Graduation, Creative, and Engagement
sessions require a $50 non-refundable deposit. Wedding and Elopement bookings require a 30% non-refundable deposit based on the total booking amount. Remaining balances are due no later than one day before the session date. Once a session has been completed, no refunds will be issued for any reason.
2. Image Delivery
Please allow JA Illustrationss a 1-2 week grace period for edits AFTER selection of images
3. Cancellations, Weather & Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Deposits remain non-refundable. Weather-
related reschedules will be determined by the photographer.
4. Locations & Outfits
Unlimited outfits and locations are subject to the booked session time. Mini Sessions (30 minutes) are limited to one location and
one outfit. A $30 travel fee applies to areas surrounding San Antonio.
5. Overtime
Sessions (30 minutes). Overtime is billed at $50 per 15 minutes when applicable and subject to photographer availability. Overtime is not available for Mini
6. Additional Edited Images
Additional edited images may be purchased at a rate of $7 per image.
7. Copyright & Usage
The photographer retains full copyright of all images. The client receives a personal-use license only.
8. Model Release
The client grants permission for images and behind-the-scenes video to be used for portfolio, marketing, and social media purposes unless a written opt-out request is submitted prior to the session.
9. Liability
The client assumes responsibility for personal safety during the session and releases the photographer from liability related to
injury, loss, or damage.
10. Minors & Guardian Consent
Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian accompany them.
11. Session Timing & Shooting Time
Session time includes setup, adjustments, and breakdown. Actual shooting time may vary to ensure quality results.
Outdoor sessions require approximately 5–10 minutes for setup and breakdown, allowing for the majority of the session to be active shooting time.
Studio sessions require approximately 10–20 minutes for setup and breakdown, lighting adjustments, backdrop changes, and test shots.
As a result, studio sessions will have less continuous shooting time than outdoor sessions, but allow for more controlled, high-quality images.
Clients are encouraged to arrive on time and ready to maximize their shooting time. Late arrivals will not extend the session.
